Why we use it
- To quote, design, print and install your order, and to contact you about it. We need this to do the work you ask for.
- To keep your artwork on file so reorders are quick and match. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
- To issue invoices and keep accounting and tax records, as the law requires.
- To answer your questions.
- To understand how our website is used, improve it and measure our advertising.
- To send you news and offers, but only if you have agreed to receive them or you are an existing customer. Every message includes a way to unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only what they need to do their job:
- Hostinger hosts our website and stores the information you submit through it.
- Google Analytics gives us statistics on how the website is used.
- Reddit helps us measure our advertising on Reddit (Reddit Pixel and conversion tracking).
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries the messages you send us on WhatsApp.
- Hostinger Reach stores your email address and sends our newsletter if you sign up for it.
- Government bodies such as SARS, when the law requires it.
Information sent outside South Africa
Some of these providers store information on servers outside South Africa. We only use providers that are bound by data protection laws or agreements that protect your information in a way substantially similar to POPIA.
How long we keep it
- Invoices, orders and payment records: five years, as South African tax law requires.
- Artwork files: until you ask us to delete them.
- Everything else: we delete it once we no longer need it for the reason we collected it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
How we protect it
Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to customer information is limited to the people who need it to do their work, and our systems are password protected.
